We went to a neighborhood here in San Diego called “Christmas Card Lane”. Residents erect giant plywood greetings in their front yards depicting cartoon characters, religious images, or Christmas themes. Some were very cute and elaborate. We drove past this one and I was really touched by the sentiment. The people that live in the home were selling things and the money was donated to help deployed soldiers. Made me stop and remember what the season is all about.
